Fashion style 70s make up and hair
Today in class we did a fashion take on 70s style make up and hair. I'm really happy how mine came out actually. The eyeshadow I think is the best really :)
50s style make up
Me and my friend helped someone i knew as she had an event which was 50s style and need the make up and hair to be done for a few models. These are pictures for my sketchbook but will have decent pictures soon that i can put up :) I found it really fun and enjoyed playing with the hair.

Long Delayed Echo
Well recently I finished doing the make up for a grad film at my uni. I was chief make up artist which was a tad scary but it was fine and really enjoyed the 6 days filming. The first few days we went to Winspit Quarry in Dorset which was lovely but the first day was blimin cold! Day 3 and 4 were at Adhelms head which is near to the quarry but this was for the scenes with the chapel. Luckily day 2,3 and 4 were so nice and hot most of the day was just sunning myself in the sun! i guess thats a good point on being on location when the weathers nice. Day 5 was at the studio at uni and Day 6 was at Lulworth cove which was gorgeous as well but very cold! Ive never done a film before and really enjoyed it, im definitely going to do some more after easter. Here are some pictures of what i did and the locations.
A wound i did on my friend a while ago.
This is meant to be a burn wound. I think it went ok to be honest could do with a few darker parts but then I'm a perfectionist :P I used a silicon wound on the neck and gelatine on the face.

This is work that I did at the Pavilion Dance.
I helped out with the make up for 3rd year actors for their production called 'Mother Courage' This was my first theatre based make up experience and absolutely loved it! I enjoyed it so much, chatting yo the actors, learning tips and tricks, the atmosphere. I would love to do one again thats for sure.
